Its combined ethane detection capability provides natural gas discrimination, minimizing false positive gas/oil leaks and can detect propane leaks indiscriminately. Its ultra-low power use, compact size, and lightweight design enable new field applications, including drone operation for remote and unattended monitoring. Using direct absorption spectroscopy, it delivers excellent linearity over a wide range with ppb-level sensitivity.
