Pri-8601 Smart soil chamber

The PRI-8601 Smart Chamber is a portable, battery-powered system designed for measuring soil and water surface gas fluxes. It utilizes multi-sensor fusion and connects to gas concentration or isotope analyzers based on spectral absorption principles, supporting up to three analyzers. The chamber features a built-in high-density battery that enables fully autonomous operation, including chamber movement and continuous data collection of soil temperature, soil humidity, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, and GPS positioning, along with data from external gas analyzers. Users can connect to a tablet or smartphone via Wi-Fi for real-time data display and instant gas flux calculations. The system has a cylindrical design equipped with a patented pressure balance vent (ZL201420354126.4), a gradual air mixing and sampling mechanism, and a precisely calibrated driving speed. These innovations effectively minimize the adverse effects of internal-external pressure differences and boundary layer disturbances on flux measurement accuracy. The PRI-8601 finds wide application across ecology, agronomy, forestry, fertilizer research, permafrost studies, seismology, landfill management, and wastewater treatment.
