The PRI-8500 multiplexer is designed for sampling gas from several different intakes.

This can be from different sources across a (factory) site or in high-end applications.

One such application is: spaced along the height of a tower to provide a vertical concentration profile for research purposes. 

The PRI-8500 multiplexer serves as the connection and control center, directing the flow of gas between various intakes and analyzers.
